
Gkenyea Johnson Sr. is the visionary Chief Executive Officer of both the Teeria Technical Training Institute of Technology (Teeria-Tech) and the Teeria Academy for Early Learning (TAEL). An educator, entrepreneur, and humanitarian, Mr. Johnson has dedicated his life to transforming lives through education and skills empowerment in Liberia.
With a strong background in leadership and community service, he previously served as Principal of Zanwah Memorial Academy in Margibi County, where he developed a passion for expanding access to quality learning. His commitment to education inspired him to establish Teeria-Tech, offering tuition-free vocational training in diverse fields such as computer science, tailoring, cosmetology, pastry, catering, soap making, and electricity. Under his leadership, the institute has become a beacon of hope for youth and adults seeking employable skills.
As CEO of TAEL, Mr. Johnson continues this mission at the early childhood and elementary levels, ensuring that children from all backgrounds have access to tuition-free quality education. His five-year strategic plan for TAEL includes expanding to Grade 6 by 2026–2027 and Grade 9 by 2027–2028, solidifying the academy’s place as a leader in foundational education.
Beyond education, Mr. Johnson is the founder of the Teeria Hope Foundation Africa, which provides educational and medical support to underprivileged children, youth, and seniors. He also established Teeria Financial Services, a micro-loan program designed to uplift small businesses and promote community growth.

Victoria M. Johnson is the Co-Founder of the Teeria Technical Training Institute of Technology (Teeria-Tech) and the Teeria Academy for Early Learning (TAEL). She is a passionate advocate for education, community empowerment, and humanitarian service, working alongside CEO Gkenyea Johnson Sr. to shape the vision and growth of the Teeria institutions.

Her leadership has been instrumental in establishing a strong foundation for both Teeria-Tech and TAEL. She plays a central role in strategic decision-making, community outreach, and student support services, ensuring that the institutions remain true to their mission of offering tuition-free, quality education and skills training to children, youth, and adults in Liberia.

Madam Zoany P. East — Administrator & Executive Director
Madam Zoany P. East serves as the Administrator of Teeria Academy for Early Learning, where she provides strong operational leadership and ensures the smooth, efficient functioning of all school activities. With a deep commitment to organizational excellence, she oversees daily administrative processes, supports staff coordination, and helps maintain an environment where students can thrive academically and socially.
In addition to her work at TAEL, Madam East also leads the Teeria Hope Foundation’s operations in Liberia as the Executive Director. In this capacity, she manages the Foundation’s programs, outreach initiatives, and community development efforts, ensuring that its mission of empowerment, education, and hope reaches those who need it most.
Madam East’s dual leadership roles reflect her dedication, strategic vision, and unwavering passion for service. Previously serving as Vice Principal for Instruction, Rev. Togbah has played a key role in strengthening academic programs, supporting teachers, and fostering a positive learning environment. His leadership emphasizes discipline, moral values, and the holistic development of every child.

Ms. Winnifred V.
